Boots UK approached the marketplace with their requirements for a central B2B gateway for group companies. REIMS had already been successfully implemented at Boots as a SAP accredited technology solution so it was a natural upgrade to select SAA as the supplier for the Backbone project, to consolidate all systems and implement a standard group approach. REIMS gives Boots UK a solution that provides a transformation technology to support traditional B2B exchange as well as future B2B integration requirements, such as AS2. Alliance Healthcare Alliance Healthcare, with their exceptional distribution network, recognised the benefits it would bring if they were able to automate the exchange of business transactions with their entire supplier community. By selecting REIMS, Alliance Healthcare were able to streamline their operations, leading to reduced costs and increased competitive advantage. REIMS can be completely automated and managed by exception. By having one integrated solution, Alliance Healthcare have met their immediate and future requirements to trade electronically and manage their time-critical business processes. AAH Pharmaceuticals SAA understands the particular needs of the industry and provides AAH with the REIMS solution for EDI and XML to reduce costs, increase operational efficiency and streamline business processes. SAA also enabled AAH Pharmaceuticals to take advantage of new areas of technology by implementing the AS2 Internet B2B Framework as part of a major supermarket chain's B2B initiative. |
